Ignacio House Comes Together for Halloween Fun!

As the cool weather set in, the Ignacio House resident scholars took a break from their studies and work to enjoy some festive autumn activities. Spearheaded by Sebastian, our live-in Supportive Services Coordinator, members of the community gathered to break bread and carve jack-o-lanterns for Halloween. Functions such as this are among the many enrichment activities that Sebastian and others organize to build a sense of community among our residents at Ignacio House.

Thanks to the work of our volunteers, many of these programs support our brothers as they navigate the many challenges of re-entry. Historically, residents have benefited from writing, stress-management, study skills, personal finance, and Ignatian Spirituality workshops. While many of these activities deal with the nuts and bolts of adjusting to life beyond the walls, there is always room for fun and levity, especially come time for Halloween!

To learn more about our enrichment activities and ways to support our brothers at Ignacio House, reach out to info@thriveforlife.org. Our team is always looking for new and innovative workshops and events to support our scholars as they continue their studies.
