The Ignatian Volunteer Corps Honors Fr. Zach & Thrive For Life

On November 11, 2021, the Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) will honor our very own Fr. Zach at their Dare to Dream event. The webinar will celebrate individuals who have heeded Pope Francis’s exhortation to ambitiously dream to effect positive change in our fraught and divided world. In choosing to feature Thrive For Life, IVC affirms the importance of our mission to transform lives behind and beyond the prison walls.

IVC’s local cohort in Milwaukee has already played an important role in Thrive For Life’s plans to open a new house of studies in Milwaukee. Thanks to the hard work of their volunteers, our team will be able to bring the Ignacio House model to citizens returning home from beyond the walls in the largest city in Wisconsin. An important component of this expansion plan requires cultivating local support to sustain the house of studies. IVC, Marquette University, and others in the Milwaukee area will be crucial pillars of support in this endeavor.
