Thrive For Life Celebrates Italian-American Heritage

This past month, Thrive For Life was honored to be special guests of the Columbus Citizens Foundation during this year’s Columbus Day festivities celebrating the contributions of Italian-Americans to society. Fr. Zach, resident scholars, staff, and mentors joined the Foundation at their gala here in Manhattan, during which Fr. Zach offered the opening prayer, blessing those in attendance and giving thanks for the contributions of Italian-Americans in our nation’s storied history.

In anticipation of the celebration, Thrive For Life had the opportunity to share more about our ministry in a pre-recorded segment aired on ABC7, highlighting the good work of our resident scholars continuing the good work of college education. Fr. Zach and Vincenzo Guido, our Director of Development, spoke about the expansion of our Ignacio House model to other geographic regions, including right here in Manhattan thanks to the generosity of His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan!

As Thrive For Life continues to grow, we are most grateful for the partnerships we have been able to forge with different communities across the country. We pay special thanks to Columbus Citizens Foundation for allowing us to share our mission to transform lives behind and beyond the prison walls with their audience!
