Meet Our Newest Faith Community Partner! St. Bartholomew’s, East Elmhurst

On August 15, 2021, Fr. Zach traveled to the Church of St. Bartholomew in East Elmhurst, New York to celebrate the Holy Eucharist with Pastor Fr. Rick and his congregation. We are thrilled to welcome St. Bartholomew’s to our family of faith community partners committed to our mission of supporting those folks affected by the carceral system and their families. 

Located a mere four miles from Rikers Island, Fr. Rick and his kind congregants will play an important role in helping Thrive for Life continue its work behind the walls, while also creating a space for healing and hope as folks return home to their families and loved ones.
