Meet Our Newest Faith Community Partner!

The Thrive for Life Prison Project would like to thank Fr. Sebastian Bacatan and the entire St. Pius X faith community for their generous donation in support of our important prison and re-entry ministries. Last week, Fr. Zach joined Fr. Sebastian to celebrate the Eucharist at the Church of St. Pius X in Scarsdale, New York. At the conclusion of the liturgy, Fr. Sebastian presented a check for $13,260 to the benefit of Thrive for Life.

The St. Piux X faith community raised all the proceeds through their annual Race for Grace 5K run, held virtually this year due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In picking an organization to support for their race, St. Pius X made note of our commitment to providing spiritual guidance rooted in the Ignatian tradition to our friends on the inside. We are incredibly grateful for Fr. Sebastian and his congregation’s dedication to our important work behind and beyond the prison walls.
