Wrapping Up Our 2022 End of Year Appeal!

Every year, we have the tremendous fortune of working with countless volunteers, mentors, and supporters, each of whom makes our work at Thrive For Life possible. As many of our readers will remember, Ignacio House began as a dream borne out of our work behind the prison walls where we encountered countless men committed to the good work of college education in hopes of permanently and successfully reentering society. Today, that dream is a reality as we celebrate the launch of our new house in Manhattan and look forward to the opening of locations in Milwaukee, Queens, New Orleans, and Washington, DC. With the recent restoration of Pell Grants for students behind the walls, the number of people pursuing college degrees will only grow, making the need for a comprehensive continuity of care ever more pressing. We are excited to play a role in meeting this demand and recognize that the support of our community makes all of this work possible.

This year, we gladly report that our End of Year Appeal campaign yielded over $167,000 in combined contributions, all of which will go to support the continued growth and expansion of our Ignacio House projects across the country. Through our extensive network of faith, community, and university partners, the Thrive For Life family has lengthened our reach to more and more people behind the walls and their loved ones. The journey does not stop here! As we begin 2023, we look forward to working with even more people continuing the good work of college education around the United States. We rejoice and give thanks for the incredible generosity of our supporters and donors as we continue to transform lives behind and beyond the prison walls!
