Remember Thrive For Life at the End of The Year!

In this Advent season, as we all prepare to celebrate Christmas, we want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has generously supported our mission this past year. This year at Thrive for Life, we've seen remarkable growth and your support has been crucial. As we conclude the year and continue our annual appeal, we invite you to continue your support. Your contributions greatly assist our mission to provide continuity of care to an increasing number of justice-impacted individuals committed to transforming their lives.

We are glad to share some incredible developments from these last several months, all possible because of your past support. On June 1, we began a merger with Abraham House in the Bronx. This new house of studies now accommodates up to 35 residents and offers substantial space for onsite educational classes and community outreach, including a weekly Saturday Food Pantry run entirely by our residents. We have also broken ground at Abraham House to open the Cardinal’s Cafe which will be host to our onsite vocational and technical education program which will provide classes in OSHA, technology, ESL, parenting, HVAC, and more, equipping residents and the broader community with essential workforce skills.

Beyond our work in New York, we finalized the purchase of a house in Milwaukee to house up to 12 residents where we will be planning to welcome the first cohort of resident scholars in Fall 2024. We're also exploring opportunities this spring to open another house for women in New York and one for men in the Washington DC/Baltimore area. Back in New York, Ignacio House in Harlem is full, with 10 resident scholars pursuing their education at Columbia, NYU, CUNY, and soon St. John’s.

All of this is possible because of you. Please consider supporting us by donating at www.thriveforlife.org/donate or by mailing a check to Thrive For Life Prison Project, Inc., 30 W 16th Street, New York, NY 10011.

Thank you for your generosity and continued support. May God bless you.
