Regis High School’s Day of Service at Abraham House!
Thrive For Life recently welcomed a group of students and faculty from Regis High School to Abraham House for a day of Christian service at Abraham House! Over 30 students, led by their faculty advisors, joined our facilities team to help with a variety of projects including preparing food pantry bags, hauling old furniture away, and disposing of old files and boxes. Their work helped us get a head start on our spring cleaning here at Abraham House, making it a more welcoming and efficient space for our residents!
In addition to their hands-on work, we're thankful for Regis High School's Grub Day, which supported our resident-led food pantry at Abraham House. In addition to taking up a food collection, students gathered white t-shirts and socks for individuals at Rikers Island, extending their impact beyond the immediate community here at Abraham House.
We appreciate the ongoing partnership with Regis High School and the difference it makes in the lives of those we serve. A special thanks to the Abraham House team, including Italo, Aileen, Jose, Bernie, and others, who played a crucial role in coordinating the day's events.
We're grateful for everyone's contributions and look forward to future collaborations with Regis High School and the continued support of our mission at Thrive For Life!
