Ignacio House Celebrates Christmas!

This year, the new surge of COVID-19 cases complicated a lot of holiday plans and festivities. Fortunately, the resident scholars at Ignacio House still managed to come together to celebrate and enjoy each other’s company over a community meal and Christmas party! Thanks to the work of the Ignacio House Leadership Council and Sebastian, the house got into the holiday spirit with a Secret Santa gift exchange, followed by a dessert contest. It also would not be a Thrive For Life Christmas without plenty of delicious food. Members of the community were treated to troves of fresh Christmas dishes prepared by Lidia Bastianich and the Manuali family. Lorenzo, one of our Young Executive Board members, helped to coordinate a surprise delivery that allowed everyone to eat to their heart’s delight. 

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and time of our staff and resident scholars that made this Christmas meaningful even amid these uncertain times. Special thanks to the Bastianich and Manuali families for their incredible support and love for our brothers at Ignacio House.
